Mah Card – Iranian debit card for tourists in Iran
Mah Card is an Iranian prepaid debit card designed for tourists traveling to Iran. It functions like international credit/debit cards such as Visa or MasterCard, letting you use your money in Iran without carrying cash. Since international cards don’t operate in Iran, you must either use cash or Iranian debit cards. Iranian banks and financial institutions usually don’t issue cards to foreigners or require a long list of documents that tourists typically don’t carry. You can use Mah Card at any POS machine, ATM, website, or nearly every Iranian sales system.
After you register on our website, we contact you to schedule a meeting at your hotel or hostel in Iran. Then, we issue your card and top it up with the cash you provide. That’s all it takes.

How does it work
Signing up for Mah Card is quick and simple. First, register for an account on https://www.mahcard.com. Once you complete your profile, a Mah Card customer support agent reviews your details and prepares your card via our partner bank.
When your card is ready, we arrange delivery to your hotel or hostel in Iran. Our customer support agent meets you in person to hand over your card. At the same time, you can exchange cash and transfer it to your card. Our representative converts your cash to Iranian Rials (IRR) instantly and loads the funds onto your card while you wait. This entire process takes only 2–3 minutes.
You may also top up your card at any local currency exchange shop in Iran. These shops can deposit money directly onto your Mah Card.
