Rent a Pocket WiFi for Iran | Unlimited Data

We recently launched our WiFi program to provide customers with fast 4G mobile internet while traveling in Iran. The service is currently called Mah Cell.

Many travelers requested an easy way to stay connected during their trips to Iran. However, purchasing and registering a SIM card has become increasingly difficult over the years. Most mobile operators now refuse SIM card registration for non-Iranian residents due to complicated paperwork.

To solve this issue, we integrated a fast 4G Cellular Internet service into a compact, pocket-sized travel WiFi hotspot. This lets you access the internet in Iran without the hassle of SIM card registration. Plus, our Pocket WiFi doubles as a portable power bank for charging your devices.

Important: Currently, the Mah Cell Pocket WiFi device is not available. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to offer it again soon.

Meanwhile, if you want to send money to Iran quickly and securely, we can help! Visit our trusted Money Transfer Service to transfer funds hassle-free.

How much is it? I’ll stay almost 4 weeks in Iran. And how is the procedure? I’ll get the WiFi hotspot by the agent when I meet him because of the MahCard? And how I give the Hotspot back?
    Regards Jörg

Hi Jörg, The price is 10 Euros per week for unlimited data. There is also a 50 Euros security deposit for the device which you would get back when you return the device. And yes you will get the package when your MahCard is delivered. We make another appointment to pick up the device before you leave the country.

Thanks so much for your answer. I have ordered 6 SIM-Cards for me and my friends in order to use it with our Smartphones. I hope mine will work although I used my iPhone already last October in Iran. Do you know if it works? Otherwise I’ll bring my iPad with me.
Best wishes and Nowruz Mobarak 🙂

    Hi there

Can I arrive in Tehran and depart from Shiraz. Do you have an agent in Shiraz to whom I can return the device?

Hi Gavin, Unfortunately, we only accept MahCell returns in Tehran. But, you can keep the device for €50 if you wish to!

Hello, this sounds to be a better option. I have been using RentnConnect but they told me that they do not provide their services in Iran. I think am going for this. Can I get the Pocket WiFi immediately I land at the airport.

Hi Pizza, Yes. You can use MahCell to share internet with up to 10 people at the time. Obviously, you won’t get the maximum speed when the connection is shared.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi Stuart, Thanks for your question. The speed of our Mobile WiFi is the same as the LTE/4G internet connection on your mobile phone.
